Describe your idea (200 Words)

In August i was in Mbagala, Temeke when i happened to hear a story of a woman who had a stillbirth, and not only that the child was still dead during doctoral surgical procedures to remove the child, the baby started to rot in the womb and this led to part of the baby's body to separate from each other in the womb. It was shocking to me for different reasons, first how did the mother not know all this time about the situation in her own womb, the answer to that is that, that was her first pregnancy so i heard and so she did not have enough knowledge of everything that could happen or many changes that might happen in her own body. Second it is possible that the issue of health care is not taken serious as it is supposed to be, this can be seen by the way health education or services are provided in the health provision facilities but also how much hardship these women have to go through just to get the services they need, from distance to cost and availability of utensils and medicine. But third the stigma associated with health issues in our society, this can be seen in how openly we talk about health issues in our society, from situations arising while pregnant to postpartum situations like depression and so forth, i ended up wondering what would happen if she could talk it out openly and maybe someone might have knowledge about the situation. So from that situation came this idea, that maybe we can break the ignorance barrier in our own health issues because our health matters, maybe we can live stigma free life where we openly open up about our own health issues and who knows maybe someone else is going through the same thing and we can conquer it together. So i chose those circles to represent medicines, a glimpse of what could cure.
