Source: DREAMS Data fact: In Temeke 27% of young girls had children/pregnant in 2015-2016, that is equal to a ration of approximately 1 out of 3 . Description: As seen in the design, a young pregnant girl with a graduation hat to symbolise education is in the centre laying on a flower as three butterflies sorround her all yellow except one , together with groups of 3 petals where all are green except one red, that symbolises the ration (1 out of 3) , at the border are 24 car tyres in total that represent the divisions of Temeke and dots of 3 with a red one in the middle also focusing on the ratio. I was inspired to design this by watching one of the video in the seminar that involved a young adolescent girl talking about how conductors or drivers take advantage of the school girls as they need transport daily to go back and forth to school, it being a growing concern as a good number of them get early pregnancy even before they complete their education. "Mtazame ila usimgise" means look but dont touch, that is whoever is responsible for providing transport for our young girls should not take advantage of them regardless of their desires, just provide the transport not a baby too.
